Tunbridge Wells, Kent, United Kingdom Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust Full time

The purpose of this new, innovative and influential role is to provide inspirational and visible professional leadership, strategic direction and career development for Allied Health (AHP) and Health Care Science professionals at MTW, championing the fullest possible spectrum of their contribution to both existing services and service development across the trust.

This role provides professional leadership to all professional groups who are regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), together with associated staff groups and support workers, both regulated and non-regulated.

These professional groups (therapy, diagnostic and scientific staff) are collectively described here as Health & Care Professionals (HCP).

The majority of the HCP workforce sits in the Core Clinical Services Division which combines Radiology, Pathology and Therapy Services with significant numbers of staff in the other four divisions (Medicine, Surgery, Women's and Children's and Cancer).

This post therefore provides leadership and developmental support to staff groups who are professionally aligned. Overall operational management of these groups will be retained by the divisions in which they sit.
