The Lensbury Resort is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.


The Role

  • Clean and maintain all public areas, including lounges, restrooms, and common spaces.
  • Ensure all surfaces are dusted, polished and free of waste.
  • Vacuum and mop floors as required to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Supply soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in all toilets as required
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department and uphold health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Assist with cleaning of facilities and changing rooms
  • Assist with the cleaning of other external buildings on the Lensbury grounds
  • Returning any lost property to the Housekeeping Office suitably marked.

What we're looking for:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, cleaning agents, and equipment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Excellent timemanagement skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work weekends, and public holidays, with schedule flexibility.
