The key responsibilities of the Recruiter in Uxbridge will be:

  • To co-ordinate and deliver the recruitment and selection process on a day-to-day basis

This will include:

  • Preparing and circulating adverts
  • Providing advice and guidance to recruiting managers on best practice / attraction methods to be used
  • Checking and amending job descriptions / person specifications to ensure that they are formatted correctly, are relevant /current and accurately reflect the skills required.
  • Negotiate cost effective media and advert placements
  • Setting up vacancies and administering the HR Recruitment system
  • Sending interview invites, and ensuring interview attendance
  • Preparation, checking and submission of panel packs including that the questions are appropriate and relevant
  • Carrying out salary assessments
  • Preparation of Risk Assessment paperwork
  • Carrying out Salary Assessments
  • Send conditional offers of employment
  • To advise relevant team members of the required contractual paperwork to be prepared and sent
  • To ensure the recruitment and selection process is inclusive, and in support of the Equality policy.
  • Overseeing the onboarding process to ensure that all legislative and safeguarding requirements are met. (DBS, Right to work, Qualifications etc.)
  • To coordinate and deliver the maintenance and update of the HR recruitment database, producing reports as required

Profile

The successful Recruiter in Uxbridge will have:

  • Having worked for 3 years or more within HR /Recruitment
  • Ideally hold or work towards achieving CIPD level 5 qualification
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the principles of Safeguarding and Health & Safety
  • Know and understand the legislative, contractual, and inclusive requirements of recruitment and selection
  • Knowledge of working within Education and the associated employment requirements
  • Experience of recruitment processes and administration
  • An ability to build relationships and negotiate best value with recruitment agencies / stakeholders
  • To be able to work in a fastpaced environment with the need to be flexible adapting to changing priorities
  • Have experience of providing exemplary customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • To be able to research recruitment incentives / initiatives and implement as needed
