Apprentice Post Office Clerk and Shop Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our friendly team working in this fortress Post Office and shop.


All applicants must pass Post Office CRB and credit reference checks before commencing the role.

Hours will be either or pm over 5 days with a half day on Saturdays. ) Occasional extra hours to cover holidays and sickness.

The role require the individual to have:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Cash handling and card processing skills
  • Confident in supporting customer questions and up selling where appropriate.

The role will provide the following training:

  • Use of the Post Office Horizon system
  • An understanding of the security required
  • Able to carry out daily and weekly balances
  • Cashing up shop tills
  • Data entry onto to shop back office system full training will be given

Job Types:
Part-time, Contract, Permanent

Pay:
Up to £11.44 per hour
