A well-established Manufacturing company is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team due to an internal promotion. This role is offering up to £25,000pa and is based in their Oldham office.

What you will be doing:

  • Supporting monthend processes including preparation and posting of prepayments, accruals, other general journals as required and physical WIP stocktakes and monthend balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Reconcile bank accounts daily and at month end.
  • Reconciliation of Inter-Company statements to the ledger and the process of monthly Inter Company Payments.
  • Preparing the midmonth and monthly supplier payment runs and input adhoc online banking payments.
  • Update and post cash book entries for all bank accounts and all invoice discounting accounts
  • Reconcile supplier accounts to supplier statements, investigating and correcting any differences.
  • Processes supplier invoices and process credit notes and make sure queries are resolved.

About you:

  • Analytical and technically strong.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.


 Intermediate Excel skills
  • Vlookups and Pivot tables
