The Finance Partner is a key member of the UK and US Finance team.Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner the key focus will be partnering the Amazon US & UK commercial team, monitoring results/driving the strategy and reporting on performance.
Finance Partner for Amazon US & UK, partnering with the commercial teams to monitor weekly sales, product and profitability performance.
To update and circulate all financial reports in relation to Amazon performance from internal systems and Amazon seller central.
Lead in conducting month end close, finalising revenue results, processing journals into SAP and providing commentary on the month performance.
Lead in the financial forecasting & annual budgeting process, working closely with the commercial teams to ensure plans are accurately submitted as per the group deadlines.
Drive financial insights of performance during the annual planning process and monthly performance cycle.Management of the full Amazon P&L to contribution and ensuring the P&L updated and circulated to senior management.
Track all Amazon marketing investment, review results and evaluate the ROI working closely with the commercial teams.
Update monthly performance packs with latest view with commentaries and review with line manager pre reviews.
Involvement in new business case modelling, ROI calculations and innovation tracking for Amazon.
Attending, and financial leading in all Amazon business meetings
Governance and close monitoring of Amazon retail pricing. Including close analysis and bench marking vs the wider market and 3rd party sellers
Support in driving G2N improvements and building the commercial capability within the commercial teams
Ad hoc reporting as required by the senior finance business partner
Newly Qualified Accountant (CPA or CIMA)
Experience using Adaptive Insights and SAP is preferable
Proven experience of extracting & manipulating data from a variety of sources
Strong Business Partnering Skills
Advanced Excel skills are essential
Ability to analyse large amounts of data and quickly understand and summarise key problems & trends
