To support the Senior Officers to deliver departmental policies and projects. To implement learner progression procedures with the associated monitoring and reporting to both internal and external funding bodies and to provide support to learning forums, conferences and meetings.

Respond to enquiries from, and liaise with the skills and employment department, other local authority departments, tutors, external bodies including colleges, schools, members of the public and government agencies in order to ensure appropriate information, advice, and guidance (IAG) requests are efficiently completed and recorded. To interview and identify any skills needs relevant to customer progression and make suggestions for new course development that will give customers the opportunity to build up sector specific digital and technical skills
and be able to succeed at interview with a local employer.
Conduct individual outreach face-to-face interview sessions across Cheshire West & Chester using assessment of needs delivering IAG to service users resulting in individual action planning. To record, process and monitor skills and employment systems, procedures and processes using relevant IT packages to ensure all registration, learning enrolment, customer activities and job outcome targets can be reported consistently across the borough.
