We are looking for people who want to make a difference work as part of a specialised professional team alongside the police, must have good communication skills, be empathetic and supportive,


Previous experience of dealing sensitively with a wide variety of people who have been agitated, confused or angry would be an advantage, but we'll train you in full on an Initial Training Course even without previous experience.


A little more about the role
The custody suites can be an energetic place to work, with no two shifts the same. Whilst detained, we provide individuals with all their physical, mental healthcare and wellbeing needs.

As well has escorting detainees,collecting forensic samples on behalf of the police, work with other agencies to support the detainees durign their time in Custody and on their release.

You'll be working in a small team alongside

Police Officers:
whilst also having the support of experienced Senior Custody Detention Officers to learn from.

£12.50-£15.50 Per hour
