About the Company:
Sovereign Network Group (SNG) is the 6th largest housing association in the UK, formed by the collaboration of Sovereign and Network Homes. At SNG, we combine the best of both organizations to create an even stronger entity.
The Role:
- Lead the coordination of van stock, material sourcing, and waste management within the Supply Chain division.
- Ensure contracted services are delivered to high standards across Property Services.
- Collaborate with providers to guarantee smooth service delivery.
- Monitor performance targets and work with stakeholders to achieve them.
- Manage stock ordering solutions and provide training on relevant software and processes.
- Review material and waste procedures, conducting assurance checks and updates as needed.
- Analyze supplier data to offer insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Day-to-day management of supplier product catalogues, including pricing and maintenance.
What we look for:
- Experience in supply chain management or similar role within a building environment.
- Strong administration skills in a customer-focused setting.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and self-motivation.
- Well-organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Literacy and numeracy skills with experience in preparing presentations and using pivot tables.
