Senior Care Assistant

Previous experience in care is essential and experience at senior care level would be preferable.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

  • As senior care assistant the role is to support their line managers and assist them in all aspects of the home's management, including taking temporary complete charge during the absence of more senior shift leaders. A senior care assistant will also provide a high quality of care to service users when they are not required to lead a shift. It is also an integral part of the senior care assistant's role to help train junior members of staff in all aspects of their work within the home.
Meals are provided when on shift.

Any bank holidays worked will be paid at double time and there is a pay review every year in April.
