Strathmore Care Group has been successfully running Residential Care Homes within the Essex area for over 30 years. **We are currently seeking Health Care Assistants for vacancies within our Milton House Care Home, night and day shifts.**
Main responsibilities involve being a supportive and important member of a caring team, participate fully in the delivery of care with quality and standard. Health Care Assistants must be able to give detailed care with reference to key-workers.
**Daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:
- Assisting with moving and handling residents
- Carrying out all aspects of residents personal hygiene
- General supervision of residents during mealtimes; assisting residents with meals as necessary
- Maintaining and recording necessary documentation
- General cleansing and disinfection of equipment
- Maintaining Health & Safety standard
- Participating in all forms of social and recreational activities

- Supportive and patient
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to develop new skills (to NVQ 2/3)
