Care Coordinator/call Handler/emergency Response

You will be a night owl with extensive experience in social care, emergency call centres, healthcare emergency response, coordinator or Registered Manager looking for a change of scenery.
You will have excellent communication skills and are a born problem solver.Weekday and weekend shifts are: 5pm - 1am, 1am - 9am, 6pm - 10pm, 5am - 9am.
Additional weekend shifts are: 9am - 5pm, 11am - 3pm
16 and 32 hour contracts available. Overtime available.
You have experience supporting and managing carers and have the ability to liaise with care agencies, emergency response and clients.
You are not phased by stressful or emergency situations and can multitask an array of day to day issues within this specialist field as well as planning and coordinating rotas.
Contesto is a fresh approach that offers a wraparound solution to healthcare providers who by contracting our services, will no longer have to manage their on call internally and continue to run and offer their services 24 hours.
Role Requirements
- It is essential to have a strong knowledge of a variety of services including domiciliary care, emergency response call centres, &/or of a similar role with outstanding communication skills using a variety of methods.
- Extensive experience of rostering for Home Care Services using Care Monitoring systems.
- Good use of own initiative and problemsolving skills as well as being dedicated, flexible and a reliable team player.
- Proficient use of IT software, including all Microsoft packages, CRM, data systems and call logging systems. Have access to a high speed internet connection and a quiet private space to work
- Excellent professional phone etiquette and people management skills
- An effective problem solver when faced with time sensitive issues and unforeseen circumstances. Experience with dealing with medication queries.
- Advantageous to be able to use multiple specialist systems of the care sector and in relation to the training provided by Contesto and its clients.
- A calm and confident disposition
Key Responsibilities
- To attend phone calls from carers, service users and healthcare agencies, local authority etc during out of office hours
- To ensure all documentation required for service users and customer accounts are completed throughout each shift and any relevant or urgent information is relayed to the client and Contesto team members alike
- All documentation for each employee is submitted into electronic file and paper file in the office
- Ensuring review date reminders are active on relevant spreadsheets.
- To amend documentation, records, files and system as per completed audits.
- To name, store and assign all call log recordings to service user notes and client accounts during each shift
