The sustainability reporting manager is responsible for leading the ESG reporting, ensuring compliance with different ESG regulations, benchmarks and standards.

Reporting to the energy and sustainability lead, the main goal of the sustainability reporting manager is to strengthen the internal sustainability reporting capabilities in Akelius.

Additionally, this role provides support to the energy and sustainability unit to fulfill other ESG related tasks and topics.

The role requires active participation with operations to reach Akelius Sustainability targets 2025 and beyond.

coordinate with internal units, particularly Accounting, the common understanding of the impact of ESG regulations in Akelius
- organize internal documentation and information sessions on ESG regulatory topics

- assure Akelius ESG policies meet the regulation requirements and external ESG expectations by working with the responsible functions
- in coordination with the Accounting team and other units, ensure clear definitions of data and ESG processes to report
- manage internal relations to facilitate the collection of critical ESG data to comply with current and future regulations

- lead the production of Akelius Sustainability report, in compliance with CSRD requirements
- support quantitative & qualitative disclosure of CSRD and Sustainability KPIs
- participate in the ESG assurance process by working closely with the accounting team, who will provide information to the 3rd party ESG auditors
- assist with analysis of sustainability ratings
- degree in environmental science, finance/economics, or similar

  • ESG reporting in compliance with sustainability standards like GRI, SASB, TCFD or the GHG Protocol
- very good command of MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Teams

- very good writing skills and ability to communicate and present clearly
- fluent in English
- knowledge of German and French languages would be an advantage.
