This role entails


To coordinate the recruitment and contracting of editorial and production behind camera roles; ensuring the timely resourcing of our shows and adherence to ITV's policies and procedures as well as playing a lead role in creating and delivering a relevant social media approach (campaigns, initiatives) to attract and secure high quality talent.


Key responsibilities including but not limited to (full job description available on request):

Talent Attraction, Recruitment and Selection
Provide expert coordination of the end to end hiring process as follows:

  • Provide expert coordination of the end to end hiring process appropriate to each contract type ensuring all systems and paperwork are kept up to date in line with ITV's policies and procedures.
  • Maximise the value of social media in supporting our talent attraction strategy creating relevant social media posts, pitching original ideas to source new talent and attract a digital audience while protecting ITV Studios' core brand values in line with the wider ITV Studios social media strategy
  • Engage proactively with external third parties to drive future talent pipelines
  • Build expert knowledge of and comply with all legislation relevant to the recruitment cycle notably GDPR, employment and tax legislation (training will be given)

Skills Development
Demonstrate good knowledge of the skills and development framework that underpins career progression for all production roles as follows:

  • Build knowledge of the skills, roles and aptitudes required to make great tv programmes
  • Offer exit chats on the conclusion of assignments requesting feedback and offering career advice as requested
  • Promote career development opportunities provided by third parties including ScreenSkills, NFTS and any other relevant external partners.
  • Provide admin support for any training activity eg production management and finance academy courses and /or workshops.

Digitally Led (Processes and Systems)
Demonstrate expert knowledge of all our systems and processes so that we make best use of time and resource:

  • Demonstrate first rate expertise of all systems and processes related to the end to end hiring process and proactively make suggestions for improvement
  • Act as expert in and champion ITV's nonemployee contracting policy and processes keeping abreast of HMRC guidelines resolving contract and payroll queries as required (training will be given)
