An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join Community Ambulatory Care Team as a Service Support Manager.

You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build successful working relationships with a wide range of clinical and non-clinical colleagues.

The post holder in conjunction with the Service Delivery Manager will support safe and effective service delivery and enable improvement and transformation within Ambulatory Care Service. In addition to, the monitoring and use of a number of electronic systems, to ensure a high-quality service delivery.

The post holder will be responsible for providing effective provision of project management and administrative to support the smooth running of Community Ambulatory Care Service for the Adult Community Services. The post holder must be adaptable to change with the ability to problem solve in a fast paced and changeable environment.

You must be prepared for a challenge as we work together as a team to provide a service and continually develop the service to meet the needs of our patients.

Main duties of the job

To assist the Directorate Management Team in the efficient and effective operational management of resources within Adult Community Services, in order to deliver continually improving patient care

To manage and lead the Administrative staffing function to support service delivery

Accountable for identifying and ensuring improvements in patient safety, patient experience and effectiveness of Service, including the management of Service Business Continuity Plans

In conjunction with the Directorate Management Team, lead and support implementation of service improvement plans

To provide effective contribution to the delivery of the organisations objectives

To manage a devolved budget for a designated administrative area, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources

To represent the Directorate Management Team at Forums, Project and Sub-Groups
