Support Worker/Home Carer, with Minster Home Care

We are an expanding family run domiciliary care company based in York.

Established in 2020, we have developed and grown an experienced care team so far, and we love to recognise and reward the hard work and commitment of all of our team.

Our company is family run, and was originally set up by a brother and sister team who also run another local York based business.

We offer benefits such as

The shifts available for this role are;

7am till lunchtime, or 5pm - 10pm.


We aim to be as flexible as possible and we have many of our team on a mixture of mornings and/or evenings.

What does working as a Support Worker/Home Care Assistant involve?

  • Providing
    Personal Care & Companionship services:

  • Helping clients in and out of bed:

What happens when I start working at Minster Home Care?

Before you meet any of our clients, you will attend an induction at our office and a moving and handling training course.


You are paid for all training.
After this, you will shadow a colleague so that you become comfortable and settle into your new role.

As the business grows, there are often great opportunities to develop your career with various NVQ courses and accreditations available.


All you need is a caring nature and a positive attitude
