A leading housing association in Kent requires an Estate Maintenance Officer for a four month temporary assignment. UK driving license required as van provided, as well as tools, uniform, fuel card and trade card.


Working as part of a neighbourhood response team, you will be allocated housing estates to which you will carry out minor repairs, re-decorations, adaptations and general maintenance duties to communal areas.

Duties will include;

  • Assisting in carrying our estate inspections, reporting abandoned vehicles and fly tipping.
  • Keeping estates clean and tide by monitoring contract performance.
  • Carrying out minor repairs, painting. fence repairs, lock replacements.
  • Work with neighbourhood managements team to ensure that tenants enjoy a safe and clean environment.
  • Complete equipment and adaptation works (hand rails, grab rails, half steps)


You must have the ability to carry out a wide range of smalls repairs and an understanding of the role of a housing association.
