RETAIL ASSISTANT, EAST DEREHAM

Established for over 30 years this is a superb opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a Company.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers both face to face and on the telephone
  • Providing product information in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Processing payments, cash and credit card
  • Replenishing stock
  • Ensuring the retail area is clean and tidy
  • Assisting with hire vehicle handovers
  • Cleaning of hire vehicles as and when required in the absence of the valeters

Key skills:

  • Ability to follow instructions as well as systems and procedures
  • Good communication skills
- "Can do" flexible attitude

  • Work as a member of a team
  • Basic understanding of customer services and how to deal with customers
  • Some retails experience is preferred but not essential
  • Professional and well presented
  • Physically fit as lifting of gas bottles and boxes of stock is required
Monday to Friday, alternate weekends with day off during week


9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with one late night during the summer season (with an 11am start), alternate weekends - Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.


Salary:
£8.80-£12.00 per hour
