About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager Designate to join our team at Superdrug. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of retail professionals to achieve sales and service targets
- Work closely with the Store Manager to identify and explore opportunities to grow sales, improve stock range and availability, and maintain strict cost and stock control
- Develop and implement effective sales and customer service strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Provide coaching and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Monitor and analyze sales data and customer feedback to inform business decisions
Requirements
- Previous retail experience with roles such as Assistant Management or similar
- Proven track record of achieving sales and service targets
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing business needs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

About the Designate Role
In this role, you will support us by being willing to travel to a variety of stores locally around your base location based on demand. This will provide you with exposure and day-to-day variety, and will also help support future hiring needs. You won't travel forever; we want these roles to help support future hiring needs and soon you will be ready to jump into a specific store and progress within the business.
