Part-time Medical Administrator 30 hours per week


Bidford Health Centre, located near the semi-rural village of Bidford on Avon and within easy driving distance of Stratford-upon-Avon, Evesham and Alcester, is a large, modern and purpose-built health centre.

The health centre incorporates a dispensary and many additional health services are provided on site. You will join a friendly and caring team dedicated to our local population.

We seek a proactive individual to support our team and be responsible for undertaking a range of medical administration.

Duties can include but are not limited to scanning and processing of information (electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner and liaising with both clinical and non-clinical team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers in accordance with current policies.


The role includes clinical coding of documents received and saving into patients medical records, management of incoming pathology results to the right clinician and basic first line IT support to the wider team as required.

The days and hours have some flexibility Monday to Friday within normal office hours. We do require some hours on Thursday and Friday.


There is some requirement to work flexibly and provide some additional cover in the absence of other team members and full training will be provided.

The successful applicant will demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, good IT skills and organisational ability. A DBS assessment is required as part of the recruitment process. You will benefit from a good holiday entitlement, access to the NHS pension scheme and an excellent working environment.
