This is a field-based role which will require a degree of physical work, workingat heights and driving to and from sites within a given day.

Experience with Electronic Security Systems is essential, but all experience is considered.

The higher-grade engineer will usually work on complex fault diagnosis where a less experienced engineer will concentrate on preventative maintenance, straight forwardrepairs and replacements, and basic faults.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To deliver preventative visits to access control, intruder alarm and CCTV systems mainly in commercial environments.
  • You must adhere to NSI codes of practice and industry standards.
  • A call out rota is operational but paid at a premium.
  • To carry out maintenance visits as and when scheduled by the Service Desk.
  • To keep your line manager and service desk updated on your daily progress.
  • To deliver all tasks as per your grade to a highquality standard.
  • To liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for technical advice when necessary
  • To provide remote support to selected Clients when on call with a view to diagnose and rectify faults
  • To occasionally assist the Installation department if required by the business.
