As a Barclays Planning and Adoption Lead, you will take responsibility for the overall end to end delivery of and measurement of progress of the adoption and plans for the roll-out of ways of working across the BUK PODs with a focus on creating an adoption plan that is customer obsessed, delivering iterative value at pace, while de-risking execution.

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home.

What will you be doing?

  • Identifying and managing innovative method adoption opportunities through proactive experimentation and test and learn focus areas
  • Determining or influencing strategy and approach required to deliver against the outcomes of our transformational change initiatives
  • Building trust and confidence from wide ranging stakeholders BUK PODs, EPs and shared teams, as well as amongst cross-Group Agile leaders
  • Coaching, buddying, mentoring and training of both immediate team and wider business colleagues
  • Leading high levels of collaboration across BUK, bringing together subject matter experts from multiple fields and ensure problem statements and solutions are clearly articulated
  • Preparing, presenting and managing steering committee materials and decisions and presenting said material up to Director Level audiences

What we're looking for:

  • Experience planning, defining and implementing change programmes within a complex, fast changing environment with a number of moving parts
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentations skills targeting various stakeholders and senior management
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Confident and exceptional ability to influence key Stakeholders through presenting and interpreting data

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Knowledge of the UK retail banking marketplace, its products and its key performance drivers
  • Conceptual thinker with ability to translate this into simple and clear programmes of work
  • Wide knowledge of Agile, Scrum Management principles & tools e.g. Jira, Jira Align
  • Project management and preferably Agile certifications

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.

This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff.

The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
