We are looking for a talented Principal Workforce Systems Data Analyst to join our team in Colchester.

This role plays a crucial part in providing top-notch workforce information analysis, ensuring precise and timely data for decision-making. The ideal candidate should have vast experience in workforce information analysis and a solid background in utilizing e-workforce systems like Access HR, ESR, OLM, EASY pay, Trac, and e-rostering.

Job Purpose:

  • Manage and upkeep workforce systems to guarantee efficient utilization and data capabilities.
  • Analyze and decode intricate, confidential data, delivering written reports and statistical presentations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Act as the ESR/Systems subject matter expert, offering guidance on system functionality and resolving issues.
  • Engage with external entities and suppliers to enhance systems or service delivery.
  • Take the lead in launching new features in ESR and other e-workforce systems throughout the organization.
  • Offer comprehensive analysis and insights for workforce planning, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Handle day-to-day workforce system matters and mentor team members to assist end users.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hold a degree in a relevant field or possess equivalent experience in workforce information, business information systems, or data analysis.
  • Extensive expertise in Workforce Information Analysis and familiarity with HR systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in NHS Electronic Staff Record (ESR) or similar Oracle-based systems.
  • Skillful in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, which includes Pivot Tables and various functions.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of generating accurate workforce information and presenting complex data compellingly.
  • Business acumen regarding how workforce information influences organizational decisions.
