The ideal candidate for the CAFM Team Leader position will take charge of managing changes to the CAFM database, such as updating asset, location, resource, asbestos, and H&S tables. Collaboration with stakeholders is crucial to ensure compliance and maintenance of commercial price lists. This role plays a key part in enforcing CAFM processes and ensuring they are auditable.
Location: Birmingham B18
Working hours: Monday-Thursday afternoon and Fridays remotely from home
Pay rate: £32-34k (weekly pay)
This is a maternity cover position for a duration of 12 months.
Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring and processing of shared mailbox requests.
- Handling CAFM change forms to update tables in the system.
- Maintaining change control records in trackers.
- Engaging with stakeholders for approvals, follow-ups, and updates.
- Enhancing scheduling for efficient work and task grouping.
- Ensuring data accuracy in CAFM tables.
- Updating compliance records as per the contract.
- Assisting in updating documentation and training material related to CAFM processes.
- Coordinating ad-hoc requests with Operations teams for CAFM updates.
- Generating reports as needed by the contract and business.
- Supporting projects affecting CAFM and compliance.
- Allocating and delegating work within the team for on-time completion.
- Monitoring team punctuality and behaviors, escalating issues when needed.
- Providing guidance and referrals to the team.
- Supporting internal and client calls as necessary.
- Taking notes in meetings when required.
- Acting as cover for the Business Improvement Manager.
- Ensuring building opening/closing procedures are observed.
- Keeping records of team sickness, lateness, absences, and appointments.
- Serving as the first point of contact for team-related issues.
Key Skills:
- Proficient literacy skills for accurate CAFM updates.
- Strong excel skills with use of Lookups and Pivot Tables.
- Process-oriented with the ability to follow and implement procedures.
- Effective communication and interaction with various stakeholders.
- Experience in people development, mentoring, and coaching.
- Capability in prioritization and delegation within the team.
- Initiative in problem-solving complex queries.
- Effective workload management and task prioritization.
- Ability to carry out instructions from the CAFM Manager.
