Marine General Manager | Brixham | Full Time
OTS operates a fleet of fast, versatile vessels that transport technicians, cargo and fuel to offshore work sites.

Our Integrated Management System ensures Quality, Safety and the protection of the Environment are at the forefront of everything we do.


You will be working 2 to 3 days in the Brixham Office, and the remaining days you will be working from home or working away.

What will your role as a Marine General Manager look like?

Quality & Business Development

  • Primary point of contact for customers
  • Develop new business with existing customers
  • Develop relationships with potential new customers
  • Attend trade shows
  • Set vessel rates and mobilisation lump sums

Vessel Schedule & Planning

  • Complete Charter Enquiry Form
  • Compose / review BIMCO charter party
  • As tenders are completed and submitted, add to the vessel schedule planner

Health & Safety

  • Working with QHSE Manager and masters to maintain and continuously improve the Integrated Management System
  • Preparing for and attending the annual BV audit

Kick-Off Meetings

  • Attend kickoff meetings and safety meetings with customers (mostly online)
  • Allocate some future responsibilities to Operations Manager and QHSE Manager

Vessel Compliance

  • Liaise with MECAL to ensure vessels meet UK Flag requirements and IMCA eMISW
  • Some work may be delegated to QHSE Manager and Operations Manager e.g. attendance during MECAL audits and inspections
  • Prepare crew and vessel for Ørsted insurveys (attend as required)

Accounts & Finance

  • Support Finance Administrator to send out invoices each month
  • Establish budgets for maintenance in cooperation with Technical Superintendent
  • Review payables/creditors/payments list
