Workshop Manager / Marine Engineer

HSB Technical Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Workshop Manager / Marine Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our marine engineering workshop in Brixham.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for marine vessels and equipment.
  • Lead a team of marine technicians and engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities to team members.
  • Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair tasks on marine engines and systems.
  • Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide technical advice and solutions.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on maintenance activities and project progress.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 NVQ minimum in marine engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of marine engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of HSEQ policies and procedures.
  • Ability to travel to Brixham.
  • Full UK Drivers License.
