Workshop Manager / Marine Engineer

HSB Technical Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Workshop Manager / Marine Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our marine engineering workshop in Brixham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering and proven leadership skills to manage a team of skilled technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all marine vessels and equipment.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of marine technicians and engineers.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair tasks on a variety of marine engines and systems.
  • Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide technical advice and solutions.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on maintenance activities and project progress.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 NVQ minimum in marine engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of marine engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of HSEQ policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to travel to Brixham.
  • Hold a Full UK Drivers License.
