About the role:
We have big plans for the future and are looking for a new Software Engineering Team Lead.

This position will suit you if you have experience as a software engineer and have experience managing other software engineers and technical projects.


Heres what the role looks like:
Be the line manager for a team of 4 7 other software engineers of varied experience
Act as project lead for the projects the team are working on, managing financial performance, reporting to the Operations Lead
Manage support contracts for systems your team supports, ensure SLA targets are met
Manage work schedule for your team
Contribute technically as an experienced software engineer
Requirements
Here are the key skills and experience relevant to this role:
We build mobile, web and desktop apps using a Microsoft technology stack.

Here are some of the technologies that you can expect to work with:

NET (7/8) and .NET Framework 4.8,
C# and TypeScript/JavaScript,
MAUI for iOS and Android,
Blazor, ASP.NET, HTML and CSS,
WPF and Windows Forms.


Youll join our team of over 25 software engineers who build new applications and support existing ones, based in our Aberdeen office.

We take an engineer-led approach to our projects which means that you are fully involved in decisions throughout. You'll also be in regular contact with our customers so good communication skills are essential too.
