Sales Assistant/food Handler

Pocklington's Bakery are a family business that have been feeding Lincolnshire since 1924, and we are currently looking for an additional team member in our busy Louth Shop.


Hours of work are 12 per week, which will be worked in 4 hour shifts (over 3 days), between our opening hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm, on a rota basis (to include Saturdays).

This is a permanent position.

Duties Will Include:

  • Cash Handling and Card Processing
  • Hot and cold food preparation including making sandwiches and salads, and "bake off" oven work
  • Working efficiently to deadlines
  • Customer Service
  • Upselling
  • Receiving and storing the delivery of stock
  • Displaying products and promotions
  • Creating window displays
  • Adhering to Health and Safety requirements
  • Adhering to Food Safety requirements
- "Clean as you go" and cleaning down at the end of the day

Basic Food Hygiene and First Aid Qualifications an advantage but not essential.

Any relevant training will be given.
