In this role, you will report directly to the Store Manager and play a vital part in enhancing sales and profitability by executing assigned tasks that contribute to the ongoing improvement of the store and the service provided to customers, colleagues, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items for customers.
  • Manage cooking processes for hot food items in the ovens.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings and accurately communicate options to customers.
  • Present and package food items neatly according to customer requests.
  • Replenish sandwich stock to ensure availability during operating hours.
  • Utilize the till to process orders, handle payments, and provide correct change.
  • Comply with all operational processes, policies, and procedures set by Greggs and the company.
  • Follow food handling, safety, and sanitation standards when preparing, serving, and cleaning food items.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of health and food safety regulations in a food service environment.
