You may have served in the Royal Navy and repaired steam plant, boilers and associated equipment, or you have been in the RAF and worked on propulsion systems, or you may have served in the Army/REME and repaired and serviced heavy plant, equipment or vehicles.

As mentioned, the company will provide you with excellent and fully paid for training to provide you with the necessary skills to help support your transition into industry.

They just need the technical skills and background, with the desire and motivation to provide a great engineering service to their very diverse customer base.

You will also be provided with a superb and industry leading package, that includes great salary progression, all of your specialist tooling and PPE provided, a fully expensed company car or van, paid overtime, 33 days holiday and you are paid door to door, so if you have a job which is a quite a distance from home, you will still be paid for your time.

A home-based role, where you will travel to your customer sites on a variety of service visits.

  • Routine service & maintenance of the industrial equipment,.
  • Preparation of annual insurance surveys and NDE Examinations.
  • To participate in supporting the company with product testing prior to despatch.
  • To support the company in the commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of products to overseas clients.
  • Coordinate activities when working with apprentices and/or less knowledgeable or skilled engineers to meet customer expectations and utilisation.
  • Work in a confined space when appropriate.
  • Undertake routine service, cleaning & maintenance activities on associated equipment.
  • Participate in providing and supporting the company's 24 hr breakdown cover.
  • Competently undertaking servicing, both in gas and oil.
  • Lead by example to ensure colleagues and Trainee/Apprentice Service Engineers understand and comply with both company and site-specific Health & Safety procedures.
