We have an exciting opportunity to support our UK Team as a Corporate Communications & PR Manager based in London, UK.

The Corporate Communications & PR Manager is part of the global communications team and plays a key role in leading strategic company and business-related communications as well as consumer PR for the EMEA region.

Create, edit and distribute communication materials, including news articles, web page copy, video scripts, press releases, executive communications, presentations, and speeches.

Develop proactive and reactive communications strategies, in partnership with the global communications team, to address issues that could impact the company's reputation.

Serve as a core member of the global crisis response management team.
Support material development for internal communications to employees and franchisees on corporate topics, as needed.

Work collaboratively with local (country level) marketing teams on corporate and consumer communication initiatives, including developing toolkits and templates to ensure consistency in messaging.

Partner with Head of Sustainability for EMEA to develop appropriate sustainability messaging and communications.
Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business to gather information and provide strategic communications guidance.
Ensure messaging in various communication materials is consistent and follows brand guidelines.
Stay attuned to emerging topics and various communication tools, techniques/best practices.
Monitor and report on communications content and stories related to Subway and the industry.
Manage online pressroom.
Work with external consultants and agencies, including managing an external PR agency.
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in a Communication, PR or any related field

Technical Proficiencies:
MS Office Suite (PPT, Excel, Word, SharePoint) with the ability to quickly learn other applications, as necessary.
Experience developing and implementing comprehensive communications plans for an organization, brand or program, working with cross-functional teams across regions
Demonstrated ability to work with and present to senior leadership teams
Experience developing and implementing comprehensive communications plans for an organization, brand or program, working with cross-functional teams across regions
Understands communication metrics and analytics.

Knowledge of AP style, and ability to adapt writing style for a variety of platforms and channels, including web and video.

Interpersonal, relationship-building and networking skills with a self-motivated attitude to work.

Language requirements:
Fluent in English – any additional language a plus.
