This is 2 year Fixed Term Contract
Purpose of role:
As the Business Change Director, you will play a significant role in The Crown Estate's transformation journey by developing and embedding a framework, standard and methodology for effective business change. You will take a lead role in upskilling key stakeholders across the enterprise and creating a network of Change Champions. You will also take a hands on role in delivering business change for our key strategic transformation programmes.
This role complement our Transformation Programme Managers and Directors, by championing Behavioural Change, Benefits and Outcomes realisation and ensuring that transformation and change initiatives are sustained long-term through effective planning and delivery of actions, including but not limited to: business readiness, change impact assessment, organisation of appropriate training / awareness / upskilling, adoption and post go-live support.
There is also a requirement to measure the change journey at both an enterprise level and at a programme level for all programmes within the scope of the TCE Transformation Framework.Main Accountabilities:

- Accountability for defining and embedding change management centre of excellence across the organisation, including development of a framework, standard(s) and introducing and implementing an industry best practice methodology.
- Accountable to deliver business change management for our key programmes, including but not limited to Enterprise Operating Model, Finance Transformation and Digital Transformation.
- Lead on Behavioural Change leadership initiatives
- Upskill stakeholders across our enterprise and drive awareness of effective Business Change Management.
- Create an Enterprise-wide Change Champions Network.
- Capture, collate and manage risks and issues from a Business Change perspective.
- Developing an integrated Business Change Management plan for key programmes.
- Measuring the Change journey at a programme and enterprise level.
- Lead and support the change management analysis at both an enterprise and programme level.
- Delivery of tangible business outcomes, with a clear view of how change fits in to the broader business agenda
- Equip the Enterprise Leadership Community (ELC) with the tools, techniques and skills to better manage and sustain change.
- Partner with other parts of the organisation, including but not limited to Digital and People & Culture to deliver high quality change management where required.
- Acting as an advisor on best practice and ambassador for change management across the organisation
Knowledge, experience and skills :
- Qualified in a industry best practice Business Change Methodology such as ADKAR by PROSCI, or equivalent.
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in Business Change leadership
- Proven experience of planning, deploying and successfully delivering business change management initiatives, which were planned and integrated into a large programme.
- Ability to manage and influence a complex stakeholder landscape (including c-suite level) to successfully deliver sustainable and lasting change.
- Ability to influence others in achieving a common goal.
- The ability to build, manage and maintain a sense of community amongst the often disparate members of the organisations.
