Your role involves managing design processes for complex projects, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and contributing to project tenders.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop innovative design solutions in collaboration with project teams and subcontractors, meeting client requirements effectively.
- Build strong client relationships from the project's conceptual stages, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project needs.
- Oversee the design process from tendering to construction completion, applying value engineering principles and construction expertise for optimal results.
- Promote modern construction methods, enhancing efficiency and sustainability throughout the design process.
- Use KPIs to monitor design production, keeping projects on track and within scope.
What We Need From You:
- Project Management Skills: Show strong planning, reporting, and organizational skills, focusing on program delivery.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in MS packages, collaborative platforms, and ideally, experience with P6 or similar software.
- Construction Knowledge: Exhibit a deep understanding of technical construction and the water industry, with knowledge of design standards.
- Qualifications: Hold a degree in a relevant construction field, with professional qualifications like C.Eng or MCIOB preferred.
