**About the Role**
Abatec Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to lead a portfolio of projects in the Water sector. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the buildability and value engineering of projects. You will work closely with the design team to ensure that design deliverables are produced to allocated key dates.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead the design team to meet client requirements and project objectives
* Manage the design function to ensure design deliverables are produced on time
* Ensure the organization of design elements and document into the Design Management Plan
* Attend Programme, project, and technical meetings
* Provide support during construction and commissioning stages of work
* Ensure design compliance with all Health and Safety codes and legislation
**Requirements**
* HND/Degree in an engineering-related discipline
* Extensive experience working in a multi-disciplinary design environment
* Experience of working on major projects within the Water sector, involving both Civil and M&E aspects
