UK Protection Ltd are looking for an Accounts Assistant to be part of our busy and expanding finance team, on a 6-month fixed term basis.


Responsibilities:

  • Sub-Contractor invoice reviewing, approving, and processing.
  • Bank loading payments.
  • Drafting Sales Invoices.
  • Day to day finance tasks such as chasing timesheets, assisting with credit control, inputting sales and purchase invoices onto Xero.
  • Provide administrative support to the office, such as answering phones and generally being one of the team

Requirements:

  • A good, organised approach to your work, motivated and deadline driven
  • A great team player is a must, assisting with telephones, signing for the odd package within the office we all muck in here
  • Experience of working within a busy finance department within a similar role
  • A good working knowledge of Xero.
  • Can work well under pressure and change focus if asked quickly and reprioritise
  • Good attention to detail and problemsolving skills
  • AAT Level 2 required (AAT Level 3 Preferable)


This is not an exhaustive list, as you can appreciate your attention should always be directed towards the business focus at the time.

In return we will offer you a clean, comfortable working area, with parking on site. The role will be placed within our Exeter Head Office and work our office hours of 9am - 5:00pm. We have a busy, fun environment in Exeter where there are always exciting new projects happening.

Salary £22,000
