Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Practice Accountant to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Practice Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting Senior Accountants with various accounting tasks, including account preparation, documentation, monthly bookkeeping, client interactions, and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Senior Accountants with accounting tasks, including account preparation, documentation, and monthly bookkeeping
- Perform client interactions and administrative duties
- Maintain customer records and conduct regular bank reconciliations
- Process monthly payments and manage payroll duties
- Prepare balance sheets and assist with audit tasks, journals, and related paperwork
Requirements:
- Junior Accountant or similar experience
- AAT/ Bachelor's Degree/ Studying towards ACCA (all suitable)
- Experience with similar tasks
- Commutable to Exeter
