We seeking a full-time, permanent, administrative member for our Quality Assurance Team in Wilson's Country. This position will be based in Craigavon. This new role has been created as support to a successful team due to expansion.

About The Role

The Position


This is a full-time position to support the Technical and Quality Manager with routine administrative activities linked to our quality management system.

Working hours will be 40 hours per week, 5 days, Monday - Friday (8am-5pm) an occasional Saturday may be required as and when needed.


Duties

. Complete internal audits

  • Manage supplier approval databases and webbased systems
  • Investigate and communicate customer complaints, completing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
  • Assist with annual employee food safety culture survey
  • Complete/develop associated reference documents for new product or process changes
  • Document control
  • Managment of risk assessments and ensuring they are up to date with relevant changes
  • Reviewing HACCP flows and validating these changes when required
  • Review of site gap analysis on changing standards, creating revised work instructions, procedures and policies for approval and implementation
  • Support in customer audits
  • Completing factory walks to ensure standards in factory are kept to expectations and regulations
  • Any other associated duties as directed by Quality / Technical Manager

Requirements:

Ideally we are looking for someone who has:

  • Degree level qualification in Food Science/Food Technology
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a Technical capacity gained in manufacturing food environment
  • Good organisational skills and IT competent
  • HACCP qualification
  • A good knowledge of BRC Global Standards for food and an other relevant customer standards/code of practice
  • An internal audit qualification
  • Level 3 food safety qualification

  • Have the right to work in UK

  • Experience in working in food production/preparation
