We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Mobile Mechanic who will help support company fleet operations. To provide maintenance support for Comex Vehicles.
Reporting to the Fleet manager, you will assist in the maintenance and repair of company commercial vehicles.
You will work closely with the Fleet admin team who will provide the jobs and engineers and management to provide support reported vehicles back on the road.
This role will require you to travel to out different locations across the south-
What will you be doing?_
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, your core responsibilities will be
- Carry Maintenance and repair of diverse fleet of vehicles, including small vans, light vehicles, large vans, trailers, and cars.
- Fault diagnostic experience and familiarity with a wide range of manufacturers.
- Electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair.
- Accurately record time sold to complete jobs and associated details such as parts and consumables.
- Manage consumable inventory on the vehicle and ordering of parts for jobs.
- Familiarity with tracking systems installation and removal.
- Adhoc duties as required.
- Health and safety at work and understand environmental impact of parts and waste.
- Contribute to developing the role
Skills & Qualifications required:
- Ideally a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance Repair or considered qualified by experience.
- Clean Driving Licence
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work quickly and effectively
- Flexible approach and positive attitude to work and embrace continuous improvements
