Mobile Mechanical Engineer Job Description

Job Title: Mobile Mechanical Engineer

Sector: Engineering

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Nexus Careers Group Ltd. This exciting opportunity will see you working on a variety of sites, providing high-quality maintenance and mechanical services in commercial and residential properties across London and the Home Counties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and heating systems.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Performing inspections and testing to ensure mechanical systems are compliant with regulations and operating efficiently.
  • Installing and commissioning new mechanical systems as required.
  • Responding to emergency call-outs and breakdowns as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a mobile role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and heating systems.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with commercial and residential mechanical systems.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London and the Home Counties.
  • Competitive salary of up to £42,000+ per annum.
