Job Description

CRO Office Lead | Contract | London | Hybrid | £500/day

This role is an exciting opportunity for a flexible, self starter individual who can work independently in supporting two separate workstreams within the CRO Office function.

The role:

You will support both the Head of CRO Office and the Project & Planning Lead in their respective work streams which will require flexibility within the approach to the work.

Head of CRO Office work stream: The role will require someone with excellent communication skills as it will be essential to communicate with internal teams, and individuals to provide guidance around requirements, expectations, and process. This will also include engaging with the CRO Office team and wider organisational teams in regards to the overall plan of the key message, as well as relaying KPI targets/successes in a manner that ensures the committee are aware of the impact the successful delivery of KPI targets are having on the business. To do this, you will be required to put together committee packs with all relevant information which will maintain the smooth running of the risk function.

Project & Planner Lead work stream: You will be required to create business cases in a sensible and clear format to ensure communication is reliable and clear. This will allow for successful resource management, resource planing, as well as continuous improvement with the risk function.

Other responsibilities:

  • Ensure the correct members are on the correct agendas
  • Recruitment: including job spec drafting, meeting planning, attending briefings.
  • Quarterly staff meetings.
  • Stakeholder management - of up to 15-20 stakeholders

Experience/Skills required:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills - ability to deal with push back
  • Ability to bring people together regularly
  • Strong Microsoft Suite experience
  • Previous experience within a risk function would be highly desirable
  • Excellent administrative experience - producing clear documentation, complete company secretary duties within the risk committee, and build committee meeting packs.
