Job Details
- You will form the longer term view of profitability to set pricing outcomes
- You will analyse various data sources (including internal loss data and industry data) to form views on Motor claims inflation
- You will be the main point of contact for Motor performance across internal teams including Claims, Reserving and Finance
- Working closely with the Actuarial and Data Science team developing loss cost models to form views on pricing strength
- Working closely with Underwriting on the risk gathering and the impacts this has on book profitability
Skills we would love you to have- Strong numeric and problem solving skills
- Strong Analysis and coding experience (SQL and / or Python preferred)
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Confidence to express thoughts and views
- Good knowledge of the personal lines insurance market preferred, but other backgrounds will be considered, including non-insurance backgrounds
