Grounds Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Grounds Account Manager to oversee a large council contract comprising of education-based sites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of 14 Groundsmen, ensuring that the specified grounds standards are met and maintained to a high level.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain strong client relationships with high levels of satisfaction
- Provide and maintain quality-of-service delivery
- Manage, recruit, and coach local service teams
- Carry out ad-hoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, audits as required by and to support the Operations Manager
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures and legislation are adhered to
- Look for opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings, and account growth
- Excellent interpersonal communication and people management skills
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to forward plan, work under pressure, and influence at a senior level
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems
- Ability to work to tight timescales
- Strong commercial awareness, financial management, and IT literacy
- Passionate, flexible, trustworthy, and innovative
