Grounds Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Grounds Account Manager to oversee a large council contract comprising of education-based sites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of 14 Groundsmen, ensuring their 120 sites are properly supervised and that the specified grounds standards are met and maintained to a high level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain strong client relationships with high levels of satisfaction
  • Provide and maintain the quality of service delivery
  • Manage, recruit, and coach local service teams
  • Carry out ad-hoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, audits as required by and to support the Operations Manager
  • Responsible for ensuring Health & Safety procedures and legislation are adhered to
  • Look for opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings, and account growth
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and people management skills
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to forward plan, work under pressure, and influence at a senior level
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems
  • Ability to work to tight timescales
  • Strong commercial awareness, financial management, and IT literacy
  • Passionate, flexible, trustworthy, and innovative
