As a Barclays Markets Resilience Lead, you will oversee and protect the bank's resilience through governance of the resilience risk position. This is an opportunity to deliver through driving the governance agenda for resilience through its scope, as well as the day-to-day management of the Group Resilience Council, resilience issues, and where required any other relevant metrics, Controls compliance, processes and procedures which impact the Resilience of the bank.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting and delivering against business units resilience strategy and ensuring the business adopts the Group's approach to managing resilience and operates to service

• Establishing effective governance to maintain the resilience capabilities to the business unit's risk appetite

• Helping to identify and document business services and Important business services

• Assisting in the determination of Business Impact Assessments and Intolerable Harm assessments

• Engaging with SMEs to assess any Supplier, Technology and Workforce Resilience requirements

• Leading the business in compiling and maintaining a Business Response Plan and Workforce Recovery Plans

• Assisting to drive the identification and remediation of gaps in Resilience and proactively identify and implement innovative solutions to mitigate Resilience risks

• Representing Resilience on firm driven projects / program and new or amended product requests to ensure resilience requirements and expectations are reflected

What we're looking for:

• Experienced in Markets, Trade Operations or Resilience

• Solid background in risk, controls and issue management as well as experienced in interpreting Policy, Standards and Controls and how to measure and manage compliance against them

• Experience in managing data quality, reporting and assurance processes

• A collaborative team player

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Background, understanding or working knowledge of Operational Resilience, Technology and Supplier Risk

• Background or working knowledge of Governance and Reporting

Where will you be working?
In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
