We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the Operational Resilience efforts of a major international bank.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Develop and Implement: Create and oversee our Operational Resilience Framework in alignment with UK and EU regulations.
  • Collaborate: Engage closely with various teams and stakeholders to guarantee smooth operational resilience practices.
  • Identify and Monitor: Keep a close eye on our critical business services (IBS and CIFs) to ensure their strength and security. Maintain service taxonomies and updated maps.
  • Set and Review Impact Tolerances: Collaborate with service owners to define and regularly review impact tolerances for our critical services.
  • Scenario Testing: Develop and oversee the testing of severe yet plausible scenarios and coordinate testing workshops.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Manage regulatory self-assessments, compile the annual ICT Risk Management Framework report, and generate status reports for senior management.

Qualifications They Desire:

  • Experience: Solid background in operational resilience, particularly within the financial industry.
  • Knowledge: Proficient in UK (FCA/PRA) and EU (DORA) regulations.
  • Skills: Exceptional project management, communication, and influencing skills. Capable of fostering relationships and steering initiatives.
