Job Duties:


The Older People Service works with adults aged 65+, as well as adults with dementia, by supporting them to manage their care needs.

They provide social work and occupational therapy assessment and advice for older people and their carers, often, alongside our partners in Health.

This includes promoting independence and offering Enablement where appropriate. The teams also provide personal care budgets to people and reassess when people's needs change. Sensory Services provides specialist assessment, care and support and equipment for people who are deaf, hard of hearing or visually impaired,

We are looking to recruit an Information Quality Officer for a period of six months.

This is a great opportunity for an individual who has excellent MS Excel and reporting skills and would like to put these to use within the service.


An important aspect of the role is to communicate with managers and senior managers across the service and to provide key performance reports to these stakeholders in a timely manner.


This role is well suited to an individual that has exceptional problem-solving capacity, good written and verbal communication skills, and excellent MS Excel skills.

Experience of system support and working to tight deadlines would be a distinct advantage.


You will need to have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and be able to ensure work is carried out to a high standard within agreed KPIs.

This role will afford opportunities to work with a great deal of autonomy but within broad guidelines.

It also offers a unique opportunity to work closely with front line services staff and other teams within the organisation that will help to develop your network within the organisation.

English Fluency:

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post (for those whose language is a signed language the provision of a sign language interpreter who speaks English to the necessary standard of fluency will be required).
