Partners in Care is a not for profit organisation representing approximately 270 independent Nursing, Residential, Supported Living and Domiciliary Care providers in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin and Cheshire.

We are the care association for Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Cheshire and are a member of the Care Association Alliance (CAA).

We offer a wide range of services for adult social care providers across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Cheshire. These include training, a Disclosure and Barring service and a wide range of workforce initiatives.

We employ a small professional and experienced staff team, supported by a committed and active Board of non-executive directors drawn from our membership.


Our work environment includes:

  • Hybrid working from home and at our offices at The Farriers Business Centre, Annscroft, Shrewsbury SY5 8AN


We are seeking a Project Administrator - Care Quality Improvement to join our team to provide maternity cover for the existing postholder who is due to go on maternity leave at the end of May 2024.

The initial contract will be for six months but may be extended.


Under the direction of our Care Quality Improvement Lead, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering the administrative function of Partners in Care, with a specific focus on supporting the Care Quality Improvement Lead and the organisation's activity to support care providers with care quality improvement, as well as engagement with our members and any training or events delivered by the team.


We are looking for someone who is methodical and organised with experience of working in a busy office and remotely.

Experience of working with data and databases, and with customers, is essential.

Focused on providing excellent customer service, able to work independently and as part of a team, you will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Care Quality Improvement Lead and delivery of the Care Quality Improvement project
  • Support the development and delivery of training sessions and courses with specific responsibility for adding details to the Partners in Care CRM system, advertising, booking and acting as a first point of contact with learners
  • Provide support for the Better Security Better Care (BSBC) programme and the DBS check service as required
  • Work independently under the leadership of the Care Quality Improvement Lead

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Salary:
£13,384.00 per year

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
