Hygiene Operator (Night shift)

TM Scotland Grangemouth & Falkirk office are urgently looking to support a brand new client based in Bridge of Allan that is the UKs leading food business that specializes in the supply and development of award winning British and Irish beef and lamb products for retail, food service and wholesale.


We are working closely with the site to source a new member to add to the night shift Hygiene team and the hours of work are Monday to Friday 5pm - 1:30am.


The role does require someone with previous experience and someone with their own transport due to the finishing time and site location.

What are the duties and responsibilities of a Hygiene Operator within our site?

  • Clean machinery and factory to satisfaction of your supervisor
  • Utilize departmental resources efficiently, for example labour and machinery
  • Clean the areas designated to you in a safe and efficient manner to the procedures laid down in the cleaning schedules
  • Minimise wastage, for example water use or packaging
  • To look after the equipment that you use in your work lance foam barrels venturies etc
  • Maintain the area of work in a clean and tidy state
  • Comply with health and safety rules, to prevent / minimise the risk of accidents
  • Attend appropriate team meetings as required by technical manager
  • Participate in training, in accordance with your personal training plan
  • Carry out any additional duties which may be reasonable requested by your supervisor.

What we require for you to be considered for our client?

  • Experience working within a Hygiene Operator role would be a massive advantage however not essential as full training will be provided
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A team player with a good eye for detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Someone who has worked on a late / night shift previously
  • Own transport due to finishing time and site location
