Working Hours are Monday to Friday, 1700 start.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Night Hygiene Supervisor and working as part of a team to ensure that the factory is deep cleaned to a high standard on a daily basis.. Ideally should be used to working in a fast paced and hands on position, be well organised with the ability to maintain attention to detail whilst working under pressure in a busy working environment.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

Follow Standard Operating Procedures for completion of hygiene tasks

Deep clean down of machinery and production areas as per Standard Operating

Procedures using power hoses and other equipment including chemicals

Completion of line wash downs in a timely and consistent manner

Build-up of machinery after hygiene work has been completed

Maintain a clean as you go area and demonstrate good manufacturing practice (GMP)

Support the need for change and actively get involved in continually looking for ways to improve performance

Help during changes on the line learning new skills as required

Comply with all company procedures and codes of practice to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace

Focus on attention to detail and maintaining high standards.

Other duties relating to this role as required

**Knowledge & Experience**

Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment is beneficial or in a similarly demanding working environment

Excellent attention to detail

Keen and willing to learn

Able to use own initiative

Excellent communication skills

Self-motivated

Knowledge of hygiene and food safety

Able to work as part of a team
